How to Set Up the Toggle Widget?

The Toggle Widget allows you to display a checkbox on the cart page so that customers can opt into shipping protection before proceeding to checkout. This method helps customers make their selection directly within the cart without being redirected.

 Step 1: Access the Toggle Widget Setting

1. Go to your Shopify Admin → Apps → ShipSure.

2. Click on Settings → Layout.

3. In the Layout Options section:

   • Select Toggle → This displays a checkbox option for shipping protection on your store’s cart page.

 Step 2: Customize the Toggle Widget

1. A Widget Preview appears on the right-hand side.

2. You can edit the display text by navigating to the Customize tab:

   • Heading (e.g., “Shipping Protection”)

   • Description (e.g., “Order package protected from loss, theft, or damage”)

3. Customize styling (fonts, colors, etc.) if required using the Customize tab.

 Step 3: Save and Test

1. Click Save to apply your changes.

2. Go to your storefront:

   • Add an item to the cart.

   • You should now see the Toggle Widget checkbox with your custom message.

3. Test the flow:

   • Checked (Enabled) → Shipping protection is added to the cart.

   • Unchecked (Disabled) → Order proceeds without protection.
     
     

 Compatibility Notes

• The Toggle Widget works seamlessly with both regular carts and slide/mini carts.

• For carts with custom behavior (like drawer carts), test thoroughly to confirm visibility.

• You can also use the Consent Pop‑Up alongside the toggle for enhanced opt-in rates.
