What Are the Steps to Install the ShipSure App?

To display the ShipSure widget on your store, follow the steps below for a smooth installation process.

Steps to Install:

1. Create a Backup of Your Live Theme
Before making any changes, it’s highly recommended to create a backup of your current live theme. This allows you to revert to the original version if necessary.

2. Navigate to the Widget Section in ShipSure
In your Shopify Admin, go to Apps → ShipSure → Widget.

3. Select Your Theme and Install the Widget
→ Choose your active theme from the dropdown.
→ Click Add to Theme to install the widget on your Cart Page.

4. Activate the Widget
→ Go to ShipSure → Settings → Widget.
→ Enable the toggle to activate the Shipping Protection option on your cart.

5. For Slide Cart, Popup Cart, or Mini Cart Users
If your store uses a custom cart layout (like a slide cart or drawer cart), you may need to manually add the required code to your theme for the widget to work properly.
